My name is Mary Lee Tracy and I have been the president of Cincinnati Gymnastics for over 20 years. My passion is coaching elite athletes and inspiring belief in the people around me. I love coming to CGA everyday, primarily due to my incredible staff, my dedicated elite team, and the support of so many of our parents. I hope CGA offers each of you memories that will last a lifetime! Enjoy the process!
CINCINNATI GYMNASTICS STAFF:
Kaylee is a preschool and recreational instructor here at CGA. She is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana and was a gymnast for 13 years. Other thanking a gymnast, Kaylee also played soccer at Holy Cross College before graduating and attending Valparaiso University for graduate school. She currently is a full time school psychologist in southern Indiana, but joined our team to get back into the sport she loves. Kayla also enjoys eating ice cream, watching Gilmore Girls, and playing with her dog Penny!
Amy is the head coach of our level 3 and level 6 teams. As a child she grew up competing gymnastics, and later went on to become a cheerleader at Indiana University where she studied elementary education. We have been very fortunate to have her work at CGA for the part 17 years.
Gymnastics has always been a part of Sarah’s life. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years and went on to cheer in college. She grew up in a gym owned by her parents where she began her love of coaching. Sarah has coached gymnastics for over 16 years now, and has been at CGA for over 5 years. Sarah is the Preschool Director, Pre team head coach, and coaches out Xcel team as well. When not in the gym, Sarah and her Husband enjoy going on adventurous trips!
Cris was a gymnast for over 12 years and competed as a National gymnast at the age of 12. She started coaching at the age of 16 as a Jr. coach/assistant coach in Mexico. After a few years of living in Cincinnati, She started coaching in 2007 with preschool, recreational,and competitive levels. Cris’s passion is to guide children to excel at gymnastics, build confidence, and share the foundations that gymnastics has given her!
Rachael had been at CGA her entire life. First as a gymnast, then as an instructor, and now as the level 8, 9, 10 Head Coach and Team Director. She is very passionate about the life lessons learned through gymnastics and enjoys guiding her athletes through life and the sport. She is the mom of two adorable little girls, Leah and Lucy who are both following in their mom’s footsteps growing up in the gym.
Celia is originally from southern Indiana where she started her love for gymnastics at the age of 2. She goes to Lakota East High School, and also competes for their gymnastics team. Celia has coached for 3 years including preschool, recreational, and Xcel. When she isn’t in the gym you can find her spending time with friends and family.
Jessica has been involved in the sport of gymnastics since the age of 3. She is a 2009 graduate from Fairfield. Shortly after graduation, Jessica enlisted in the Army and moved to Texas where she began coaching. After serving 4 years in the military and coming home from deployment in 2011, Jessica left the Army and dedicated her time to Coaching in Texas. Jessica currently attends Miami University getting her masters in geography and is also a member of the Association of Womens Gymnastics Judges. Jessica as 3 boys, and aside from coaching gymnastics, she also coaches her boys in little league baseball, soccer, and football.
Christina has been a coach at Cincinnati Gymnastics for over 13 years. She has taught everything from preschool up through our compulsory level gymnasts. She is currently out Classroom Director, and loves the opportunity she has to teach and lead all of our instructors and gymnasts to be the best they can be. Outside of gymnastics, some of her other passions include cooking, animals, and her Cincinnati Bengals!
Khea was bored and raised in Cincinnati. She has always had a passion for working with children. She enjoys helping them build confidence and character while working towards their goals. Khea had been coaching gymnastics for the past 6 years including preschool, recreational, compulsory levels, and High School gymnastics. Shea is married with 3 children, and when she isn’t coaching, she is working as Lakota East High School. She loves to spend her spare time with her family engaging in outdoor activities.
Bekah is originally from West Virginia. Gymnastics has been her life since age 3 when she first began. She moved to CGA at age 12 as a level 9 gymnast and continued for 5 competition seasons as a level 10. A few years ago Bekah had a total hip replacement, which led he passion of being a gymnast, to teaching gymnastics. You can find Bekah teaching preschool and recreational classes, as well as our preteam and Xcel levels.
Amy has spent most of her life involved in gymnastic, the last 2 years being here at CGA. As a child, she competed through level 7, and then went on to pursue diving at Indian Hill High School. After graduating from high school in 2006, she became a varsity diver for the University of Cincinnati, and also began coaching gymnastics. She has been coaching for 13 years now, and is currently on of the level 3, 4, and 7 coaches. Amy can also be seen teaching recreational classes. She spends most of her free time working on her new house.
April Has been Teaching Gymnastics at CGA for 6 years now. She grew up playing all different sports, but gymnastics was always her favorite. April Currently Teaches in our preschool and recreational programs, as well as being our Xcel gold and platinum Head Coach. April is also one of our Team level 3 coaches. Some of April’s favorite things include Chinese food, Vacationing in the Caribbean islands, the movie La La Land, and the color Teal!
Amanda was born and raised in Cincinnati, and was a competitive gymnast for CGA. Amanda took her passion for gymnastics and working with children to make the easy transition into coaching. She loves helping children work toward their goals, and develop the confidence and character to achieve them. Amanda teaches preschool and recreational classes as well as helping coach our team and Xcel levels. When she is not in the gym, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and gardening.
Taylor is new to the gymnastics world, and began working at CGA in the summer of 2019. However, Taylor was an acrobatic dancer for 16 years, so tumbling has always been a part of her life, and she loves it. She was a dance major at Ball State University, and just recently graduated from Xavier University where she received a second Bachelors degree in nursing. She plans to work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where she will be a pediatric RN. She is so excited to be working at CGA and is thankful to share her love of teaching with these young gymnasts.
Cassie has been involved in the sport of gymnastics from a very young age. She started her gymnastics career in Dayton, Ohio before becoming a team member at CGA at the age of 7. While at CGA, she was a member of the YOP’s National Team for 4 years, and the USA National Gymnastics Team for 5 years. She competed internationally including countries such as Italy, Belgium, and France. Cassie earned a full gymnastics scholarship to UCLA and started her collegiate career in 2011. She graduated with a degree in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Environmental Science in 2015, but her heart has always been with gymnastics. During her time at UCLA, Cassie coached Xcel and levels 2-10 when she had several state and national champions. Upon graduating, Cassie moved back to Cincinnati and continues her passion for coaching levels 8-10, TOPS, and our Fast Trak programs.
Crystal has always loved working with children. Before coming to CGA, Crystal was a special needs teacher. Now Crystal is one of our Preschool and Recreational Teachers. She loves seeing children’s faces light up when they have accomplished a new skill, and seeing their self esteem grow! Crystal’s personal mission is to be a bright light in the kids week and to tech them much more than gymnastics skills – to give them hope, courage, and life skills as they enter school. Some of her favorite things outside of the gym are spending time with her family, her dog Bella and cat Piper, and eating anything chocolate!
Devin is originally from Beavercreek, Ohio where she where she was a competitive gymnast for 9 years, and where she has been coaching since 16 years old. She is extremely passionate about gymnastics and has always loved working with kids and helping them reach their goals. Devin is a college graduate with a degree in nursing. She is also CPR and first aid certified. When Devin is not coaching , she loves spending time with her family and friends, going hiking with her dog, traveling, listening to music, and watching music.
