My name is Mary Lee Tracy and I have been the president of Cincinnati Gymnastics for over 20 years. My passion is coaching elite athletes and inspiring belief in the people around me. I love coming to CGA everyday, primarily due to my incredible staff, my dedicated elite team, and the support of so many of our parents. I hope CGA offers each of you memories that will last a lifetime! Enjoy the process!

 

CINCINNATI GYMNASTICS STAFF:

Amy Blados

Amy is the head coach of our level 3 and level 6 teams. As a child she grew up competing gymnastics, and later went on to become a cheerleader at Indiana University where she studied elementary education. We have been very fortunate to have her work at CGA for the part 20 years.

Katilyn Carr

Katilyn has had 7 years of dance experience, and loves being around kids and teaching them new and exciting things. she became interested in gymnastics when she brought her daughter and saw the smiles on the kids faces when they left class. Katilyn spends her free time with her beautiful family and  fur baby! She also loves to read and watch Harry Potter.

Sarah Day

Gymnastics has always been a part of Sarah’s life. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years and went on to cheer in college. She grew up in a gym owned by her parents where she began her love of coaching. Sarah has coached gymnastics for over 16 years now, and has been at CGA for over 5 years. Sarah is the Preschool Director, Pre team head coach, and coaches out Xcel team as well. When not in the gym, Sarah and her Husband enjoy going on adventurous trips!

Amy Fallis

Amy has grown up with a love for gymnastics! From watching Olympian’s to playing around in her backyard learning skills!!!  She spent her school age years tumbling and doing cheerleading and went on to cheer in college. She danced for several professional teams including the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals! She holds a degree in Exercise Physiology and a Masters in Nutrition.

When her oldest daughter made the gymnastics team 7 years ago she dove into teaching recreational gymnastics and helped with developmental team.  She now has 2 daughters that are a part of the CGA competitive team.

Amy has spent the last year teaching yoga to all the competitive teams at CGA. Instilling healthy values to young athletes is something Amy is very passionate about.

She is excited to join the CGA coaching staff introducing the basics and foundational skills to our newest and current members on pre team!!!!

Rachael Gardner

Rachael had been at CGA her entire life. First as a gymnast, then as an instructor, and now as the level 8, 9, 10 Head Coach and Team Director. She is very passionate about the life lessons learned through gymnastics and enjoys guiding her athletes through life and the sport. She is the mom of two adorable little girls, Leah and Lucy who are both following in their mom’s footsteps growing up in the gym.

Christina Nein

Christina has been a coach at Cincinnati Gymnastics for over 16 years. She has taught everything from preschool up through our compulsory level gymnasts.  She is currently one of our Directors, and loves the opportunity she has to teach and lead all of our instructors and gymnasts to be the best they can be.  Outside of gymnastics, some of her other passions include cooking, animals, and her Cincinnati Bengals!

Carly Johnson

Carly has lived in Cincinnati her whole life. When she was 9, she started taking lessons at CGA with her sister, being inspired to, after watching the summer olympics. She competed at 3 level, doing well on her favorite events, beam and bars. After stopping gymnastics a few years later, Carly continued to take the skills and life lessons she learned at CGA applying them to everyday life, while constantly trying to teach any friends who would listen, how to do handstands and cartwheels. Carly loves teaching and is so happy to be back at CGA.

Khea Jones

Khea was born and raised in Cincinnati.  She has always had a passion for working with children.  She enjoys helping them build confidence and character while working towards their goals.  Khea had been coaching gymnastics for the past 6 years including preschool, recreational, compulsory levels, and High School gymnastics.  Shea is married with 3 children, and when she isn’t coaching, she is working as Lakota East High School.  She loves to spend her spare time with her family engaging in outdoor activities.

Morgan Jones

Morgan was a Former CGA gymnast, and competed for almost 11 year in our team program.  She immediately started coaching gymnastics after high school and could not imagine a different job for herself.  Morgan moved to Idaho for a few years, but decided to come back home to Cincinnati, and begin coaching at CGA.  When Morgan is not working she loves spending time and playing with her dog Jax!

Amy McKell

Amy has spent most of her life involved in gymnastic, and has been coaching at CGA since 2017.  As a child, she competed through level 7, and then went on to pursue diving at Indian Hill High School.  After graduating from high school in 2006, she became a varsity diver for the University of Cincinnati, and also began coaching gymnastics.  She has been coaching for 13 years now, and is currently on of the level 3, 4, and 7 coaches.  Amy can also be seen teaching recreational classes.  She spends most of her free time taking her new puppy on adventures.

Debbie Patterson

Debbie has been coaching gymnastics for over 25 year.  she got involved in gymnastics when her daughter was 8 years old, and eventually became level 10 gymnast.  she is currently coaching  our level 3 and level 4 team. She is the mother of 2 sons and a daughter and has 10 grandchildren! She loves coaching and helping children become the best they can be.  outside of the gym, she enjoys spending time with her family, and German Shepherd.  She also enjoys working in her flower beds and pond.

Zoie Pelfrey

Zoie is currently a 2nd year level 10 competitive gymnast at Cincinnati Gymnastics.  She has always loved working with kids and plans to pursue a college education in pediatric medicine.  When she is not in the gym she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Bella Steffen

Bella is from Kansas City and has been a multi sport athlete her entire life. After moving to Ohio she started with gymnastics and soccer at age 7 before doing competitive jump rope until high school. She graduated from Mason High School and then went to the University of Utah to study computer science and video game design. After moving back to Ohio she learned her passion in life is making children smile and building their confidence through sports.She taught gymnastics for 2 years now and is over the moon excited about establishing her career in gymnastics at CGA. When she’s not working she is running with her dog Sox, playing video games, or training for obstacle course runs with her partner.

Mary Sullivan

Mary was born and raised in New Jersey, and was a competitive gymnast for her local YMCA. She has over 20 years of coaching experience!  She recently joined CGA after moving to Ohio for her day job, which is which is overseeing summer camp operations.  When not in the gym, or running summer camps, Mary is reading a book with her 2 cats curled up at her feet.  Right now you can find Mary Coaching in our Xcel Program!

Regan Walden

Regan started off with gymnastics in Mommy and me classes and continued until she was 17. She competed at CGA for about 5 years until she retired from USAG gymnastics. She had always wanted to be a gymnastics coach and remembered helping out with Amy Blados when she was a gymnast. Her favorite events to coach are floor and bars and loves to spot and be hands on with helping gymnast learn strong skills. Regan loves watching gymnasts grow not only in skills but also all the amazing life skills gymnastics teaches these young girls. Regan also loves spending time with her horses on her farm and running around after her 2 year son!

Crystal Winters

Crystal  has always loved working with children.  Before coming to CGA, Crystal was a special needs teacher. Now Crystal is one of our Preschool and Recreational Teachers.  She loves seeing children’s faces light up when they have accomplished a new skill, and seeing their self esteem grow!  Crystal’s personal mission is to be a bright light in the kids week and to tech them much more than gymnastics skills – to give them hope, courage, and life skills as they enter school.  Some of her favorite things outside of the gym are spending time with her family, her dog Bella and cat Piper, and eating anything chocolate!

Devin Wright

Devin is originally from Beavercreek, Ohio where she where she was a competitive gymnast for 9 years, and where she has been coaching since 16 years old.  She is extremely passionate about gymnastics and has always loved working with kids and helping them reach their goals.  Devin is a college graduate with a degree in nursing.  She is also CPR and first aid certified.  When Devin is not coaching , she loves spending time with her family and friends, going hiking with her dog, traveling, listening to music, and watching music.

Karla Zayas Perez

Karla Michelle Zayas Perez was born and raised in Puerto Rico, graduated from high school and college with a Bachelor in Psychology and Associate in Pharmacy Technician. After years of retiring as a gymnastics athlete, she became interested in becoming a gymnastics coach at the age of 19. She developed as a coach levels 1 to 8 in the Bayamon gym in PR for 5 years, where she worked and was offered the opportunity to be in the Puerto Rican Federation of Gymnastics as a coach from 1-10 and girls with the ability to be part of the Puerto Rico National team. She also developed as a National and International Gymnastics Judge where she can grow inside and outside the country as a judge.

Apart from being a gymnastics coach, she was able to work as a Pharmacy Technician at the Hospital del Maestro in Puerto Rico and grow as a health professional. She came to the United States 3 years ago with the mission of growing and continuing to develop as a coach. Apart from her passion for gymnastics, she enjoys adventuring, getting to know other countries, people and cultures. Her favorite place to go is the beaches no matter where, she likes to do sports like volleyball, snowboarding and kayaking.
She is a very chill individual but at times has lots of spontaneous energy. She likes to try new things and is always looking forward to the next adventure coming her way.
